Pineapple sorbet is a strange flavor for a gelateria, but it is a really refreshing sorbet, and ideal for summer. Pineapple sorbet is made exactly in the same say of the strawberry one , the procedure then is really easy!
- 250 g of pineapple
- 150 ml of water
- 90 g of sugar
You should pick a ripe and scented pineapple, then clean it and cut it in small pieces in the beaker, do not put the hard part in the middle. Add the sugar and the water then blend it with the immersion blender. The pineapple is a fruit rich of fiber, so you will have to blend it for a few minutes to obtain a nice and smooth mixture, without big pieces of pineapple.
When the mixture is ready put it in the gelato maker and in 20 minutes your sorbet will be ready! If you want you can serve it with a slice of pineapple.
